What is a Christian web designer? And why won't you do some types of sites?

I believe that God has given me talents to do many things: to create web pages, to make graphics, to work with search engines, to program databases, and so forth. I also believe that, at the end of our lives, we will all be called to give account to God for how we used the gifts He has given us. I want to ensure that when I am called to account, Jesus can tell me (as He did in Matt. 25:21) "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"

So what types of sites won't you do?

Some types are obvious: no pornography, no gambling, no hate sites of any kind, no sites advocating illegal activities, no sites advocating taking away the God-given rights of people. In general, anything that brings dishonor to God, or which I cannot in good conscience stand in front of God and confess to have made.

Do you only work with Christians?

Absolutely not! I have no problem working with those of other faiths, or of no faith for that matter, and I hope that non-Christians would have no problem working with me because I am a Christian. I know that God loves all people, so I strive to as well. I would be proud to be associated with any person of any faith who wants a site that does not fall under the criteria above. I treat every customer with the same respect with which I would like to be treated.
